General Purpose
AI receptionist for Pipedrive
An AI voice agent that answers every call, qualifies the caller and works your dormant list — connected directly to Pipedrive. No Zapier, no Make, no middleware anywhere in the booking path.
Why Pipedrive businesses buy this
Pipedrive is a pipeline tool before it is a database, and that shapes what the reactivation opportunity looks like. Deals do not usually get marked lost in a tidy way — they go quiet, sit in a stage nobody moves them out of, and age. A voice agent that works everything stalled in a given stage for more than sixty days is calling leads a rep already qualified and already spoke to, which is a warmer starting point than any cold list.
The teams running Pipedrive are typically small and sales-led rather than operations-heavy, often under twenty people with no dedicated marketing function. There is nobody whose job is to build automations, which is exactly why middleware-based answers do not stick: someone has to own the Zapier account, and in a fifteen-person company that person is already doing two other jobs. A connection that works without a maintainer is the only kind that survives.
Inbound answering matters here too, but differently than it does for appointment businesses. A B2B enquiry that rings out does not simply rebook later — the caller works down a shortlist and speaks to whoever picks up. Qualifying that caller and landing them on the right owner's pipeline with the context captured is worth more than a voicemail with a name and number in it.
Agencies and fractional sales teams frequently run Pipedrive across multiple client accounts, so per-account authorisation is not an edge case for this CRM, it is the normal deployment. Each client company gets its own grant and its own campaigns, and removing one client cannot reach into another.
How you connect it
Authentication: OAuth 2.0 against your own Pipedrive company domain (expected)
We are not listing credential fields for a connection we have not built, because the exact grant shape is settled during implementation and a list published now would be a guess dressed up as a specification. What we will commit to is the model: authorisation happens against your own Pipedrive company, the grant is scoped to that account, your deal and person records stay in Pipedrive, and you revoke access from your own settings without contacting us. Pipedrive allows private apps to be installed on a single company without going through marketplace review, which means a customer-specific connection can be live for you long before any public listing exists. We do not buy vendor licences to build or test against, so the first Pipedrive build happens on a customer account that wants it.
Constraints worth knowing up front
- Pipedrive separates Leads from Deals as distinct objects, and which one a business actually works out of varies enormously between accounts. That is a scoping question rather than a technical one, and getting it wrong means calling the wrong list, so it is settled with the customer before anything is written rather than assumed from the API shape.
- Person records in Pipedrive hold phone numbers as a labelled collection rather than a single field, so a contact can carry work, home and mobile entries with one flagged primary. Any dialling logic has to decide deliberately which label to prefer and what to do when the primary is missing, instead of taking the first entry it finds.
- Custom fields in Pipedrive are addressed by generated keys rather than by their display name, so a merge variable that references a custom field has to be bound to that key at connection time. This is why a Pipedrive setup involves a short mapping step rather than being purely automatic.
- Pipedrive applies request budgets per account that are shared across every integration installed on it. A campaign pulling a large list has to be paced so it does not consume the allowance the sales team's own tools are relying on during the working day.
